Rosewood Communities was established by Mark Nyblom in 1999. At its inception, Rosewood focused only on real estate development, rather than new-home building. In 2008, however, Mark developed the innovative maintenance-free cottage line, and Rosewood Communities was converted into a new-home construction firm. Due to the huge demand for maintenance-free communities at the dawn of the 2008 recession, the new cottage-style communities allowed Rosewood Communities to successfully navigate the economic downturn with no ramifications.

In addition to its innovative building styles, Mark has always maintained that Rosewood Communities give back to the community. In 2010, Rosewood partnered with Homes for Hope, a non-profit dedicated to generating income projects in order to provide financial resources to alleviate the poverty of individuals in developing countries throughout the world. Since 2011, Rosewood has dedicated the profits of five new homes to Homes for Hope, donating almost $400,000 in total.

Since the inauguration of the maintenance-free cottage line, the team at Rosewood Communities has constantly focused on the evolution and improvement of its product in order to stay ahead of the curve. Rosewood prides itself on the regular development of new plans, amenities, and locations, as well as highly-customizable options for clients to choose from. With nearly 1,000 homes completed since 1999, Rosewood’s team ensures that each home built is representative of the high level of detail and quality that the company represents.
